Welcome Sister — You Found Your Safe Space 🙏
Maakye! I am Abena, and I am so glad you are here.
This page is for the African Christian woman who is trying to balance faith, family, career, and self — all at once. I know how exhausting that can be. I know because I have been there.
I grew up in Kumasi in a deeply religious household. My mother was a Sunday school teacher, my father a deacon. Faith was not just Sunday morning for us — it was woven into every part of our daily life.
But as I grew older, moved to Accra for university, started working, got married, had children — I found myself struggling to maintain that same faith-filled life in a world that was moving so fast.
This page is where I share:
🙏 Daily devotionals tailored for the African woman
📖 Bible study breakdowns in plain language
💪 How to balance faith and modern Ghanaian life
👨👩👧 Marriage, family, and relationships from a Christian perspective
✨ Self-care that honors God
Whether you are a young girl in university, a working woman in Accra, or a mother managing everything — this space is for you. Akwaaba.
